Call for Papers - Special Issue on Decision and Optimization in Service, Control and Engineering (CoDIT'19)
- Published on 27 September 2019
This special issue aims at making a significant contribution to the topic of Decision and Optimization in Service, in Control and in Engineering. It is open to all researchers of this area. We would like to encourage, in particular, all participants of the IEEE 2019 International Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technologies (CoDIT’19), held in Paris (France), April 23rd-26th 2019 , to submit extended versions of their presented papers in the related topic. Contributions arising from papers given at a conference should be substantially extended and should cite the conference paper where appropriate. Moreover, the call is also open to papers which have not been presented at the conference.
High quality research papers are solicited to address theoretical as well as practical issues of Decision and Optimization in Service, in Control and in Engineering (DOSCE). The main topics of interest include but are not limited to:
- Decision Making and Operational Research (OR) and applications
- Approximation algorithms
- Mathematical Programming
- Location and routing
- Manufacturing systems
- Multiple objective programming
- Network design and optimization
- OR in control engineering
- Nonlinear programming
- Performance evaluation
- OR in Robotics
- Routing and scheduling in logistical systems
- Supply chain management
- Transportation problems
The deadline for submission is December 30th, 2019.
Instructions for authors can be found here
Authors should submit their manuscripts via the Journal’s online submission site using Article Type: CoDIT2019-DOSCE. The submission system will be open from October 1st to December 30th, 2019. The European Series in Applied and Industrial Mathematics (ESAIM) was founded in 1995 by the Société de Mathématiques Appliquées et Industrielles (SMAI), with the support of the Ministère de l’Éducation, de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche.
Initially the series comprised three electronic journals:
In 1999, the journal RAIRO-Mathematical Modelling and Numerical Analysis (M2AN), which is also published under the auspices of the SMAI, was integrated into the ESAIM series (ESAIM: M2AN).
